Service Details
Handmade costume crafted using one of my curated Jalie patterns, with no custom modifications to keep the process efficient and affordable. 4237 Fiona – Dance, Figure Skating (Includes skirt from 3891) 4455 Olivia – Dance, Figure Skating 4022 Elizabeth – Dance, Figure Skating 3891 Tessa – Gymnastics, Figure Skating 3465 Carmen – Cheerleading, Figure Skating 3026 Rhythmic Gymnastics Leotard – Gymnastics, Twirling [Pattern Note: The 3026 pattern includes templates for the star and ribbon appliqués only. These appliqués can be made using upgraded spandex, such as mystique or printed spandex. The flower appliqués shown on the pattern cover were cut from specialized spandex. When selecting flower appliqués, it is recommended to choose designs with a crisp, neat outline. Alternatively, manually creating custom appliqués may provide the best results. Whenever applying applique, it is recommended that the bodysuit be fully lined.]
Fit:
Standard Jalie sizing (Girls XS [F] to Women’s XL [AA]). Measurements are taken during consultation, and a single fitting session allows minor adjustments if necessary. Additional fittings are available for an additional fee.
Fabric:
Bodysuit: Made with 4-way stretch nylon spandex for flexibility and durability. Skirt: Crafted from stretch mesh or spandex, tailored to the selected pattern. Bodice/Yoke: Matching stretch mesh or nude mesh (where applicable) for a cohesive and professional look. Colour: Select one solid colour during consultation for the bodysuit and skirt from my trusted suppliers.
Construction:
Bodysuit: Designed as a one or two-piece costume, with or without sleeves, as specified by the pattern. Skirt: Single-layer skirt crafted to match the fullness and length detailed in the pattern. Closures: Pull-on, zipper, hook-and-eye, or clasp closure as determined by the pattern.
Price:
Flat rate for Girls or Women’s sizing.
Turnaround Time (TAT):
3–4 weeks from finalized measurements and fabric selection. A rush fee applies for delivery in less than 3 weeks.
Optional Add-Ons:
Enhance your costume with features like full lining, a second skirt layer, or embellishments, priced separately.

Once your order is received, I will reach out to schedule a consultation.
Consultation:
During our consultation, we’ll explore pattern and fabric options, confirm sizing, and outline the project scope. We’ll also discuss any add-ons you’d like to include. Full payment is requested at this time, but a payment plan is available, offering flexibility with a down payment upfront, a progress payment at the first fitting, and a final payment upon completion.
Measurements:
Accurate measurements will be taken in-studio to ensure the best fit.
Statement of Work:
A signed contract outlining the terms and conditions will be required to proceed.
Crafting:
Your costume will be sewn with care to professional standards.​
Fitting:
A final fitting will be scheduled to confirm the fit and make any minor adjustments.​
Completion:
Pick up your finished costume from the studio or choose delivery for an additional fee.
