Style:
Service Details
I’ll create a design with moderate complexity, incorporating a layered element, intricate lines, or stylish cut-outs. Base designs do not include sleeves to meet the varied needs of different sports, maintaining a sleek and streamlined aesthetic.
Fit:
Custom sizing is available for Girl’s XS – XL and Women’s XS – XL. Measurements are taken during consultation, with two fittings included to ensure a well-tailored and comfortable fit that supports your movements during performance. Additional fittings are available for an additional fee.
Fabric:
Bodysuit: Made with 4-way stretch nylon spandex in up to two solid colours for durability and flexibility. Skirt: Crafted from stretch mesh in up to two solid colours for movement and cohesiveness. Bodice/Yoke: Coordinating stretch mesh or nude mesh, where applicable, for a polished look. Colour Options: During our consultation, we’ll discuss the colours that best suit your design. I will then source high-quality fabrics from my trusted suppliers to bring your vision to life.
Design Sketches:
I’ll provide up to two sketches to help you visualize your custom costume before construction begins.
Construction:
Bodysuit: One-piece design featuring one design element such as an overlay, ruching, flounce, gathering technique, or cut-out. Closure type depends on the design (pull-on, zipper, hook-and-eye, or clasp). Skirt Customizations: Choose fullness: half, ¾, full, or double circle. Decide on layers: one or two layers for added volume. Opt for style variations such as wrap, asymmetrical, or hi-lo, with lengths up to 33 cm (13 inches).
Sew-On Glass Crystals
Includes 3 glass sew-on crystals for added artistry.
Price:
Flat rate for Girls or Women’s sizing.
Turnaround Time (TAT):
4–6 weeks from finalized measurements, fabric selection, and design approval. A rush fee applies for shorter timelines.
Optional Add-Ons:
Customize further with features like full lining, sleeves, glass or Preciosa sew-on crystals, appliqués, or embellishments (priced separately).

Costume Making Process
Consultation & Measurement:
After receiving your order, we’ll schedule a consultation to discuss your vision, the athlete’s needs, and the program requirements. I’ll take accurate in-person measurements at my studio, with measurements rechecked at the first fitting. We’ll also review any add-ons you’d like to include. To proceed, a signed statement of work and full payment are required. A payment plan is available, offering flexibility with a down payment upfront, a progress payment at the first fitting, and a final payment upon completion.
Design:
I will collaborate with you, the athlete, and their coach/teacher to create the design. I’ll present up to 2 sketches, and we’ll finalize the design, outlining the scope of work. Any design changes after approval may impact time and cost.
Patterning, Fabric Selection & Construction:
After approval, fabrics are selected from trusted suppliers. The design is transformed into a custom pattern and carefully sewn to fit the athlete’s body, ensuring a professional, competitive look.
Fittings & Embellishment Planning:
At the first fitting, final measurements are taken, and we will assess movement, fit, and comfort. Any alterations will be agreed upon, and embellishment plans will be finalized.
Final Touch Ups & Embellishments:
After the fitting, the final construction and embellishments will be added, turning the costume into a show-stopping piece.
Final Fitting & Pickup:
Once completed, we’ll schedule a final fitting. If you’re satisfied with the fit, the costume is yours! If needed, additional minor adjustments can be made free of charge within 1 week after pickup.
